This is a horrible little hotel which should be avoided at all costs. We booked over the internet after seeing pictures of this hotel including the bar area, lovely reception and internet suite - none of these things exist at the actual hotel they'd obviously been somewhere much much nicer with a camera.
The hotel is on the same street as some kind of soup kitchen which at all times of the day and night had beggers queueing outside and often fighting to while away the queue time. To access the room you have to complete a bizarre kind of obstacle course where you press a buzzer which opens a door to reveal a key to get down a corridor to get to your room, thats after you've fought your way in to the place.
The room was dark and dingy, the bathroom just horrible and we just didnt feel safe at all.
Do go to Rome as it's great but really dont stay here!
