Thanks to my friend "WizOfOzCP" which quickly got our warning sent out on Tripadvisor. My wife and I visited the Hotel Romanico Palace from 15 November 2011 to 22 November 2011. This was an extremely horrible experience and I would therefore like to warn others against using Hotel Romanico Palace. We arrived at the hotel late afternoon on 15 November... More

We have just returned from a romantic weekend in beautiful Rome - I am Italian and I have to say I have rarely ever seen such bad service in an Italian hotel, which are normally very good. This is not a four star hotel. We got there and half of the hotel had no hot water (my room included) -... More

My friend and his wife is staying at this hotel as these lines are written. He just had a horrible experience and asked me to share it with TripAdvisor emmidiately to avoid other members having the same experience. Suspecting theft from the hotel room safety box he deviced a couple of tests to confirm his suspicions (e.g. a thin piece... More

When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we were being 'upgraded' to a room in a different building. This was a hassle to get to but the room was lovely and big, no view but it was clean. The bath was meant to be a jacuzzi bath but wasn't and the air conditioning didn't work. On the... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for two nights recently. The service from the front desk was excellent. They were friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed was dated and definitely needed some sprucing up. There were cracks on the ceiling and part of the ceiling were not painted, possibly due to earlier repair works. The window... we liked the hotel, the location, the kindness, the nearby trattoria La Lanterna. Good price and good room! Walking distance from the most interesting sites, good transportation by subway, the weather was perfect, the carpet at the hotel had some stains. Do not have breakfast at the hotel because it is expensive, you can walk to piazza repubblica and have... More

Our stay was the first 2 nights of our Insight Vacation. It's in a business district and it was the weekend. The area was perfect for strolling and very quiet and safe. I'm sure during the week it's a lot more busy. Atm's and a few restaurants are close by.. The front desk suggested a restaurant and it was VERY... More

We were dissapointed. The staff was not helpful and friendly. The airconditioner did not work. It leaked on the floor one night. The bed was so hard we could not slppe. The location was good but did not make up for the condition of the hotel. We would not stay there again. More

We arrived at the hotel a day after Rome had suffered from terrible storms to find that our room was not available, the hotel had 12 rooms out of action. They arranged for us to be taken to an alternative hotel for the night and paid for our taxi fair too. We got to the alternative hotel and it was... More
