I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay smack in the middle of all there is to see in Rome. I walked everywhere or easily accessed buses just a block from the hotel. Well let me first start with the positive. You can not beat the location. You are in the central part of Rome, you can walk to the Vatican, the Forums/Collaseaum, the Trevi fountain, pretty much anything in 15-25 minutes. We stayed at the building number 77. Navona First is an ideal location, right on Campo de Fiori. It is easy to walk almost everywhere from there. The room was small, suitable for one but no room to move around if there had been two. Such a great place, and such great rates! I was so lucky to find a centrally located hotel in Rome for such a low price! And the breakfast, though simple, was accompanied by fantastic coffee and was definitely a good start to the day (it runs until 11am, which is nice for those of us who like to sleep late).... more
The b&b itself was "okay". The rooms were cute and there was air conditioning. The beds were AWFUL. I would rather have slept in a cot. Also, apparently it's located right by some very, very busy clubs. It was extremely loud until all hours of the night with people partying and then the street sweepers...ugh!
