Maria's B&B was truly a rare find. Maria herself is a lovely lady and made us feel really welcome. Our room was just as it looks on the pictures online; very tastefully decorated and bright with a private balcony that looked at Saint Peter's dome! Can not say enough good about this b and b. Lovely hostess. Rooms are so clean and tidy. You can eat off the bathroom floor, sink or toilet. They are also chic and comfortable. Great location by the Vatican. Not so much traffic. Safe and quiet. Love it.

This B&B and hostess is without peer with regard to location, price, service, cleanliness, and security. Not only can you see the dome of St. Peter's from the balcony or your bedroom window, but the spacious apartment is secure and very clean. Maria is an absolutely wonderful hostess! The apartment is clean and so spacious (especially by European standards), with an amazing view. We had the room with the blue curtains and it was exactly as pictured. Breakfast was delicious, especially the apricot croissants. Super comfortable bed, very clean, spacious, and the best view of St. Peters from the balcony w/a small table and chairs; so perfect for a pre-dinner or post-dinner drink.
