We stayed for three nights in late September. The room was good, not huge but not tiny, there was a fridge (although we could never get it very cold), fan, dresser and wardrobe and everything was clean and tidy. One window, which opened over the street but had quite a nice view. We booked over the internet and despite specifying... more

Arrived in Rome late in the evening, the hostel we booked was full that is why the owners (Maria and Carlos) after waiting for half an hour on the street took us to another place down the street. The location is great( except of the fact that the it is situated on a street very busy with traffic, so it... more

When we arrived at the Bavaria, we were informed that the family would be staying at different places due to reconstruction at the Bavaria. They said we will be a short walk from each other, which was everything but a short walk. The room and breakfast was good. The place was well located and we enjoyed our stay. more

We were actually placed in an apartment on Via Cavour rather than in the main hostel. The apartment was excellent; with free internet access in the breakfast room, free tea and coffee available, and a fridge in the room. The only slight downside was the one bathroom between the three rooms (apparently the fourth is ensuite), and the occasional lack... more

Me & my partner stayed here for 3 nights in Summer '08 whilst interrailing across Italy. Finding it was a mission, not that their directions were bad, its just not obvious! It was a trek up the stairs but when we got there we found a cosy, clean dining room/internet room and a spacious bedroom ready for us. The B&B... more

My husband and I stayed at Bavaria B&B for 2 nights in Dec, and were very happy with the rooms and service, especially considering how inexpensive it was!! The B&B is quite difficult to find, but we'd Google street-viewed it beforehand, so knew where to find it. I'd definitely recommend this, as you may struggle to find it if you... more

We were looking for an affordable B&B with a good location to explore Rome from. This B&B fitted us perfectly. Its location is really good with the Termini station just 5 minutes away. Most attractions in Rome are reachable on foot as well. Vatican City might be a bit too far but Termini also has a subway station or you... more

This place was okay for staying a couple of nights in Rome. It is close to main attractions and very affordable. We prefer to spend our money on food and sightseeing as opposed to lavish sleeping facilities. When we travel to tourist cities such as Rome, we don't really hang out in our room. We had a private double bed... more

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this B&B! Carlos and Maria are very friendly hosts with a wealth of knowledge about Rome and the sights/transport! Located around corner from Santa Maria Maggiore Church which is a great base for exploring the city (5 minute walk to Termini metro station). 4 rooms with 2 shared showering facilities (if needed, one has... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Bavaria B&B for two nights in June. It was a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend it to others, not to mention if we were returning to Rome we would most certainly stay there again! The room was clean, spacious and filled with natural light! The bed was comfortable, with nice clean linen... more
