I stayed at this hotel for four nights in October for a mini break from a work trip. There are only good things to say about the hotel. The owner/concierge is extremely helpful and nice. His restaurant choices in the area are spot on (never feeling he is pointing you to a tourist trap he is making a commission on),... more

Very good hotel (especially for reasonable money they charged) in good location. Location. 20 min walking to Coliseum area, 10 min to San Giovanni Laterano, several supermarkets in 5 min walking, a lot of different shops with affordable prices. As we traveled with a 2.5 years old baby, we also spent great time in cozy and convenient playground located exactly... more

My husband and I stayed at Re di Roma for 4 nights in September (a little late in writing, but Rome was the start of a fabulous five week holiday throughout Italy). We found Re di Roma a beautiful hotel with very, very friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, very good breakfast and situated in a nice quiet street and close... more

This was a great hotel to stay at.. right in the heart of most things to see and shopping. Quiet neighborhood and right by the Metro. Everyone at the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful, spoke english very well (thank goodness!!) and was super helpful. Rooms are a good size and we had a balcony with a small table and... more

We flew from London gatwick to the fiumicino airport, from the airport we went by train tp the Tuscolana station. It is the local sabina line and cost 5.50euros per person as opposed to 11euros (plus 1euro for the metro) via the express train. It took roughly 40-45minutes. Be sure to validate your ticket before getting on the train. on... more

Wonderful hotel. Booked after reading the reviews from trip advisor & they were all correct. Excellent location, clean, friendly staff, continental breakfast but lots to choose from, rooms are compact but adequate & comfortable. Lovely restaurants in the locality for evening meals. Asked reception & they gave us a couple to choose from. Great shops nearby if you want to... more

My sister and I celebrated her 30th B-day in Rome and stayed at the Re Di Roma. We instantly felt at home. Giorgio at the reception desk offered us breakfast as our room was not yet ready, because we were an hour early. When we were shown to our room we were very surprised at how spacious it was considering... more

The hotel is located not far from the centre of Rome, in a quiet area very close to the Metro. Travel from the airport to Tuscolana station, which is about a ten minute walk from the hotel, avoids having to use the Termini station with suitcases. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.... more

This hotel is modern with contemporary furniture and decorations. The room is small compare to U.S. standards but clean, cozy, and comfortable. The breakfast has a pretty good array of choices to eat compared to the continental breakfast in the U.S. This hotel is very close to the Metro or "Subway" which can bring you to great attractions in a... more
