The first day of arrival to this hotel (Nov 6 and 7, 2009) Our tour guide told us that our luggage will be brought up to our room. Our big luggage (full of clothes/shoes) was brought up in no time. The hand-carry bag was delivered after more than an hour of waiting. Something just didn't seem right. The other travelers... more

It is true that this hotel's four star rating is a bit of a stretch, but it is good value for Rome, none the less. If you don't mind walking and can find the closest subway station or figure out the bus routes, its fairly convenient. You can walk to the Vatican in about 20 minutes. The rooms and bathrooms... more

The hotel is fine according to the price, but the attitude from all the staff members is really bad. They always showed us we were bothering them...there was a total lack of interest to help us, even to guide us where the toilettes were in the hotel. This is something the owners should take care of. In addition, watch out... more

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in july. The best thing about it was the high standard of cleanliness. Bad points are poor breakfasts taken in a dingy basement area. Rooms are very small. The hotel does not have a restaurant and you cannot have dinner in the hotel. This could be a problem because the hotel is... more

We stayed at the Cardinal Hotel on the last night of an 8-day visit to Italy. We were with a tour group of 40 people. Our room was located on the second floor, with a balcony enclosed by 3 concrete walls. We were pleased with the cleanliness and decor. The room was very small, but we were only in it a... more

The exterior was dated, but the interior was very nice and modern. The staff were helpful. The rooms were real clean, the bed was hard as a brick. The location was near a very busy and awkward intersection. It was difficult to walk to anything and there weren't any good restaurants that we found within walking distance. I would have... more

We arrived to no reservation even though we had a Trafalgar Voucher. There were no dinner facilities available. There were no coffee/tea drinking available in the rooms. It was too far away from the city and all the highlights we wanted to see. We paid so much to get around to see the sights - we should have paid more... more

This is the worst 4* Hotel I have ever stayed in in Europe and therefore would NOT recommend it! Staff are all miserable Food discussing Location - not bad Bed - comfortable It looks like whoever refurbished the hotel was an amateur as most of the electrical points are not attached to the wall! more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in late September - early October. I will start with the positives: a) room is very nice with a nice balcony; b) bathroom facility and shower were excellent; c) modern flat screen TV that allows for movies and internet. Despite these positive features I would not recommend this hotel... more

We stayed 4 night in superior double room with buffet breakfasts and paid 298 € for the whole stay. We booked via Hotelsclick. The hotel is located quite far away from center and Vatican isn`t around the corner either. I think the most negative part of this hotel is the location, because it is so far away and the public... more
