This is a quality hotel overlooking the sea on the outskirts of the central part of Ancona. Buses travel direct to the city and port. The public areas were superb with attractive art works throughout. We were advised that the rooms were small, but in the event we were upgraded to a mini-suite with a large outdoor terrace. more

My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer at The Grand Hotel Passetto. It is truly "grand" and the views from our room, looking out at the Sea, was breathtaking. Our stay in Ancona was a memorable one. The Hotel Passetto"s setting (on a hillside overlooking the Adriatic) was magnificent.
