Fantastic location, Via XX Marzo 14, yards from Batistry, in old section where cars restricted. Only economy hotel in center of Parma. Clean, spacious, comfortable room with bath. Only 7 rooms, 2 share baths. No b'fast but wonderful pastry shops doors away. Rooms quite austere in decor. Extra, extra large rooms in front of hotel, but stone walls act as echo chamber for street noise till after midnight. If quietness is important ask for much smaller rooms in rear. Owner speaks English, info at Parma Tourist website. Double ensuite, Euro 65. Apply at Restaurant Lazzaro for entry. Restaurant has typical parmesan cooking and worth a visit.
