This beautiful hotel is nicely located in Trieste. Upper category rooms are clean and large with a soft bed. Too bad the breakfast is so cheap and doesn't fit at all with the hotel style, category and price. It's hard to find a parking spot in Trieste and the hotel knows it and charges a premium for parking. more

We just visited in Trieste the first 2 weeks in September. We stayed at the Starhotel Savoia Excelsior Palace. It is a beautiful historical hotel that was recently completed renovations 3 months ago. The rooms are amazing and some have beautiful sea views with balconies. Don't miss this place and it;s close to walking to major shopping and restaurants! more

Our room was on the third floor with a balcony, just above the front entrance. The view was fantastic, the hotel is old but it is classic. The crew was very cordial and extremely helpful. A gorgeous location, facing the Adriatic with a view of the Audace mole. A staff that goes far out if it’s way to make you forget the location and wish you’d booked somewhere else.
