Right in the centre of the old town of Trieste, convenient for eating, drinking, shopping and sightseeing. Delighted to find the rooms and bathrooms have been modernised and even include luxuries like a flat screen TV (we didn't have occasion to watch, however). I stayed here a couple of days in October with a group of friends and found my stay at the James Joyce almost perfect. Located in an old and historic alley - across its larger and more expensive Urban Hotel - the newly renovated rooms are stylish and very comfortable.
