This hotel was clean and had bigger rooms than we expected. The shower/bathroom was nice and the room also had a TV and minibar. The perk to the hotel is the breakfast on the terrace each morning, which includes homemade espresso/capuccino, omelets, eggs and bacon made to order. The breakfast also has a continental bar with breads, cheeses, jams, and hams.

The terrace is open 24 hours and overlooks the water, so its nice to buy a bottle of wine at any nearby store and enjoy it at night on the terrace (the hotel provides a corkscrew and cups in the room).

The hotel is is old town Monterosso, which is more quaint and has more restaurants and little piazzas unlike the new town, though new town is only a 10 minute walk away. All the hotels in these areas are convenient to any location, since the town is so small. This one is basically right on the square near the water.

The only downside is the hotel does not have wifi or an internet connection. more
