The room we had (Blu Room) was fabulous. Just what we needed - - comfortable mattress, extra pillows a balcony that we sat out on to have breakfast in the a. m. and some wine at night. Great to people watch. Maddy was an excellent host making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Even left us some snacks to munch on. Even had a Welcome gift waiting for us when we arrived. Hope to be back one day and my advice to anyone is if she has any rooms available book immediately you won't be disappointed.

Just what you want. We had a nice big room with a big bathroom. Everything was clean and working. Maddy who checked us in was very nice. The hotel is as central as you can really be in Riomaggiore. About 10mins slow walk to the train station and 2 mins to the restaurants and bars. The only down side is a couple of flights of stairs. But I think that's just a thing in the part of the world. Would recommend.

Loved our stay at Il BoMa. Location is excellent and the accommodation is exactly as described and as we expected. It was perfect for us. Immaculately clean. Breakfast is delivered to your room each morning. Baked good which were delicious, still warm from a local bakery. Maddie is an excellent and extremely knowledgeable host. She went above and beyond to ensure we have the best stay. I hope to return again one day.

The Gabri Apartment has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Maddy’s a great host who communicates well and makes sure you have the essentials. The apartment sleeps 4, but with just the 2 of us we had lots of space. All of the Cinque Terre towns are perched on the faces of cliffs, so we were prepared to climb and go down stairs. But by following Maddy’s advice and using the elevator from the train station to the top, it is downhill to the apartment. We used the elevator to the train station and the tunnel to and from the port, which cut the number of steps we needed to take in a very hilly town. Maddy even gave us a bottle of Limoncello made from lemons in her yard in Riomaggiore. A perfect spot!

Our friends occupied all 3 of Maddy’s rooms in March of 2022. The rooms are perfectly situated in the center of town with fruit-stands, focaccia bakery, and restaurants, train and trails within a few minutes walk. Maddy, the hostess, is EXTREMELY accommodating! She helped secure reservations for us, investigated boats for us and did tons of foot work for our group before we even landed in Italy. Maddy is extremely responsive, went the extra mile and was so kind and generous with ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay great. Also, her suggestions are too notch!! Make sure you visit the wine shop, Gheme, for a glass. You’ll be treated so well and will have a chance to meet all of the local shop owners, chefs and winemakers who have stopped by for a drink and bite after work. A true local experience!

My wife and I stayed at Il Boma on our recent trip to Cinque a terre and we were not disappointed. Everything was perfect including the owner, Maddy. We stayed in the blue room which was even nicer than in the pictures. Everything looks great and the place was caliper clean and comfortable. I strongly recommend staying at Il Boma

So glad to read that you found the Blu Room even nicer than the pictures (I have to update all my photos) and that you found it clean and comfortable. Il Boma is the most special place, with a romantic and amazing location we have ever visited. This was probably the best three days of our holiday in Italy. We got a unique treatment from the hosts. They picked us up and drove us down to the B&B, and made sure that we were alright (there was very hot), and then the wife introduced us to our room. She was so kind and helpful and noticed right away that I was pregnant, even though I was only 15 weeks along. When our visit to the Il Boma almost was coming to an end, my husband and I visited a restaurant on the other side of Riomaggiore, my husband proposed to me, just in front of the beautiful and rough sea. When our visit was over, the wife at the B&B saw the ring, she gave us both a big hug, and gave us a sweet gift. We promised her that we will come back and that we will take our child to see Cinque Terre. We will never forget this holiday, and we will definitely come back to Il Boma. Best regards!

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful village and enjoyed every minute of it! This b&b was a true delight and Maddy was the perfect hostess! We stayed in the Wisteria room that was large and very clean.Large bathroom with beautiful tile work and shower. There is a mini fridge that is restocked eveyday and an espresso machine that we used every morning. Makes great coffee! Looked forward to breakfast of Italian pastries that were delicious! Maddiy gives you all the information you need to know ahead of time and we found her place very quickly. We bought the train pass which was a savings for us as we did see all 5 of the villages in 24 hrs. She has very helpful advice on the area. Riomaggiore is post card perfect and we found each of the villages were all very unique and beautiful! This was our 2nd trip to Itally and we are so glad we saw this area and this great b&b! Thank you Maddy!

Maddy provided great directions for walking from the train station to the room on the main street of Riomaggiore. She gave us lots of tips on hiking trails, restaurants, and best places to watch the sun set.Her basil liquer is so good! We had the Blu room with a balcony over the main drag. It was up several flights of stairs. Pack light (not a bad idea for traveling Italy). The frig was stocked with juices, yogurts, etc. Each morning Maddy would deliver fresh pastries. The location was excellent. Hope we can return one day. Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous time in Riomaggiore staying in Maddy 1. There is a balcony with a view over the marina which was a lovely place to relax and watch the sunset. There is also a window that opens out to a great view of the town. The information sent to us before our arrival was so detailed and helpful. Thank you Maddy for all your help. Absolutely highly recommend staying here.
