We stayed here for just a day. The place opened in April of 2009 and the interior and rooms are very trendy in appearance. The up-side: The Holiday Inn looks quite new and indeed they are expanding it. The reception area looks nice and the rooms/ensuite are clean and to normal standards with comfy beds. Oh God another Holiday inn!, plastic, souless cheap and yes nasty. We were charged 2euros for milk for our room (to go with the tea and coffee provided) because the chambermaid hadnt left any and so someone had to get it from the restaurant for us? she also only left enough towels for one person. As priority club members and frequent travellers to Genova, we were quite excited to see the arrival of a new Holiday Inn in Genova. The hotel itself was brand new, spotless, with helpful staff. I've been there 2 weeks in June 2009, the hotel is nice and new, located close to the port, food is good, As a wheelchair user, I had 2 problems: parking and shower.
