The hotel is located in the center of Genova, within walking distance of all major points on interest. It has a beautiful staircase which is the only impressive thing in this hotel. Now the downside: - we reserved a quadruple room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds for a family of four (we explicitly chose this option at... More

If your main priority is being close to all of Genova's main attractions, historical buildings and museums this is the hotel for you. It's located on Via XX Septembre (main shopping street) and a stone's throw away from Piazza Ferrari. The staircase in the hotel lobby is impressive and the hotel breathes a certain elegance, although some parts are in... More

Located as centrally as possible, this hotel was a treat and a trip to the glorious past. Oriental rugs were nice, but dangerous; need securing. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with some views of Piazza Ferrari. Will revisit if in Genova again.

This is a good solid hotel who service and value has not changed in years. It is however what it is and you should not expect any more of it than that. A sort of faded jaded elegance that never quite hits the 4 stars it proudly shows off. I love the staircase, the linen sheets and the linen hand... More

Great Family rooms, with plenty of space. Perfect location to walk the city, walk to port, or use the metro / train. Best hotel and breakfast of the three hotels during our northern Italy tour. Also solid value compared to rooms in Milan or Monte-Carlo. We did not use restaurant, which was small and never crowded. Hotel also offers use... More

Located on a main Street in the centre of Genoa, the most striking feature of this hotel is the central staircase - shaped like an eye, spiralling up to a stained glass roof light above. The rooms are ok - fittings were a bit basic & the furniture was old. Also, the number of power sockets were limited. The breakfasts... More

This hotel is centrally positioned. Just across the road from the airport bus stop in Genoa! The room was extremely comfortable (if just a tad warm!) with great beds and plenty of room. It was well stocked with toiletries and fresh towels daily. At the reception the staff were very helpful and there is a computer and printer to use... More

Genoa has had a makeover and is an interesting city well worth a visit. The Bristol Palace Hotel is a City icon and has much to recommend it. Centrally located near the main shopping area and a stones throw from the bustling port area with its lively cafes and entertainment and also near the wonderful concert hall. The Hotel itself... This is a hotel built for a less frenetic age, but is trying to keep up with the age of electronics. It has much traditional charm, and quite a change to the 'instant' tourist hotel. Located in the best street in Genoa, it is in easy reach of most of the sights. Wi-fi is available free throughout the hotel, although... More
