Very centrally located, with a private parking, this no-frills hotel is of the practical sort, i.e. you get a bed with a bathroom - just what we needed on our way along the Italian coast towards Tuscany. This is a hotel with rather careless interior, small bathrooms, and a view on nothing. But at least it is sufficiently clean to... more

We used Genoa as a stopover between Milan and the Cinque Terre. That being the case and being here for only one night, this was the perfect location as we arrived and were leaving by train. Getting to the hotel was very easy. Walk out the front of the train station and look at the signs on the street. They'll... more

Excellent location within easy walk to train station, taxi, buses and the marina for your daliy trips elsewhere.Plenty to see all within walking distance from Hotel. My room was pleasant ( even if my fridge was not working), very clean .Good service at breakfast. Staff very helpful when I asked questions regarding trips and advice . All in all I... more

Our room at this hotel was clean and average size. On arrival we had a heck of a time finding the hotel. It is very crazy driving in Genoa, we ended up driving thru a market area with people all over the street (embarrassing). We parked the car on the main road when we finally found the hotel. I ran... more

Hotel is a little threadbare and in need of some redecoraation but its rooms were average size by european standards and reasonably clean. Location was great if you want to be in old town and a block from the stazione piazza principe (main rr station) Very good breakfast. Helpful staff and internet access for a small price. Take a ride... more

We chose this hotel because we needed a place to stay that was close to the train station - in this regard, the location of this place was perfect. Cosy entrance... so far so good. The problem came when we were given our triple room (for three adults), as we had requested and booked through Venere, and we saw that... more

I have now stayed at this conveniently located hotel twice. The first time I luckily stumbled on it down the narrow sidestreet from the station. From here you are on the edge of the 'old city' (downhhill), making it within easy walking distance of all the major sites - and easy to leave from the station. The rooms are excellent... more

I liked the Europa Hotel, very near the station in a very narrow street. Be careful if you arrive by car because the street is almost invisible. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. Overall, it is cheap. The surroundings are like all Genoa. You can find what you want but it is interesting. more

This place is a bit of a throwback to the seventies, but the rooms are clean, though the air conditioning in mine did not work. It is located in the University district, and we found it easily. Don't take a large car if you want to use the hotel's car park, the entrance is very tight. I agree with the... more

Not a bad hotel for the price and it's an adequate base for a holiday traveller, I would not stay here as a business traveller. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MAP as contrary to the information is it NOT visible from the station, and the Genoa station has no city maps available or visible. Once you have your bearings the... more
