I went to Genoa for a business trip. I booked a room at Essiale and paid €55.00 to share a bathroom. The situation was very uncomfortable, and squalid and it's not a B & B. It's more like you are sharing a room in a large apartment. I had to leave early because I was really unhappy with the accomodation.... more
We loved our stay in at Essiale B&B. We stayed for 2 nights, and everything was fabulous. The room was spacious and elegant, comfortable and clean, with a first class King over size bed. First, there is no a/c. Although there are high ceilings and the temperature inside is okay with windows open, you cannot keep windows open at night without being woken up at least a dozen times by the sound of trains passing.
