Hotel Firenze was a five minute walk from the railway station which was such a bonus being that we were there to walk the Cinque Terra. The hotel ambience was stunning and the staff were very friendly and ever so professional. We were thrilled on entering our room - it was the best we had experience during our 9 week... More

1st hotel with carpet in the room during my 11days trip in Italy... I think carpeted floor is important during winter as we do not need to put up with the cold flooring in the morning... It was quite close to the street so if you open the window, it can be quite noisy... We were lucky that we stayed... More

It was lovely to get off the train and find that the hotel was just a few steps away (saw it as the train was arriving). It was very easy to walk in to town and to catch the train to 5 terre again later on and the next day, hugely convenient not being there with a car. The hotel... More

Rather than arrive in Cinque Terra at night we stayed at this hotel, just steps away from the train station. Our room was modern and spacious with a balcony that accommodated a table and two chairs. Breakfast (with better than average cold offerings) was included and served in a bright and classy top floor room. The staff was responsive and... More

Hotel is just steps away from the train station - an ideal location. (We were supposed to go to Cinque Terre and stay in Riomaggiore, but because of the floods and mud, we changed our plans - trains at that time were canceled to Riomaggiore - and booked this hotel.) Hotel is three star in a converted townhouse. Room was... More

The best thing the hotel offers is that it's opposite to the train station to Cinque Terra, therefore you do not waste time, on a quick visit. The hotel has an expensive decor and looks a bit fancy, but the room is of average size. The bathroom was new. The breakfast was probably better than others in our Italian trip,... More

A good location within 5 minutes of the railway station. There are frequent trains to the Cinque Terre towns. What is not so well publicised is that you can take a bus (E1.90) to Porto Venere, which is a fantastic waterfront town, not on the railway line - well worth a visit. In addition, you can walk down to the... More

Not sure how this got the number one rating in the city....rooms are ok....no Internet except in the bar...no fridges in the room...there is an in room safe, however and for the first time in a month, we were able to get the BBC and Blomberg tv in English. Staff are very friendly. The included breakfast is very plentiful served... More

I stayed here for one night, on my way from the south of Italy to Cinque Terre. This hotel has a nice, high class look to it, but they missed the mark by not following up with attention to detail. Firstly, there was an overwhelming scent of carpet cleaner or some other pervasive heavy chemical smell throughout. Also, the elevator... More

Beautifully decorated, outstanding service (Pasquale & Maurizio were fabulous), gorgeous rooms, central and handy location. We had a double and quad rooms (suite) booked. The double was a little older, the suite superbly appointed and decorated. Amazing bathroom and bedrooms. Great hospitality and close to the station ready to take you to the Cinque Terre sights and delights. Also very... More
