This Hotel is the charming little waterfront "Sister" of the similarly named Hotel on the hill. Both properties are fabulous, but I prefer the location of the "Mare". The staff was very professional and courteous. We were travelling with two small children and they were very accomodating to our special needs. The restaurant is excellent and very private. We had a room with a balcony looking out on to the piazza and it was absolutely charming. We visited Hotel Splendido to use the pool and it is breathtaking... more
