This is a neat design hotel, housed in a restored old tower. Viewing from the outside, then stepping inside makes you wonder if you are actually stepping into the same structure. This Hotel is in just the best situation in Bergamo Alta. It is minutes away from the funiculare, and therefore all public transport, and in the other direction, minutes away from the Piazza Vecchia. GombitHotel is a nice design hotel in the center of Bergamo Alta. Cappella Colleoni and other major attractions are just a few steps from the hotel. Be aware the also the major bell towers are a few meters from the hotel, and here they do like to play their bells... anyway on Sunday morning they considerately started at 7.30 am.... More

This is a great renovation of a lovely building in a superb little town. The hotel was stylish. Our room was large light filled & comfortable. The house keeping is very good. The location is perfect.
