I stayed only one night at Hotel Plinius, but I wish it could have been more. It's directly down the road from the S. Lucia train station and only a block back from the water. The hotel was a good 10 min walk from station thru Como, not bad if traveling on the lighter side. The rooms/bathrooms were clean, typical European size. The staff were helpful, breakfast was fine. Nothing horrible about stay, nothing outstanding,either close to the water and certainly met our needs for one night.. more
