The Hotel Milano certainly looks the part, flanked by palm trees and enjoying a prime position on the promenade at Maderno, an ideal spot for sipping an Aperol and watching La Passagato. Stylish hotel with excellent service located at the mouth of the harbour. The Maitre D was professional and friendly and we enjoyed all the meals; varied, local fish was enjoyable, wines good like Bardolino. Breakfasts were lovely mixing hot and cold (v. good scrambled eggs) and coffee refills. Would recommend paying a lttle extra for a balcony and lake view.... more

The hotel is beautifully located at the edge of Maderno Bay on the western shore of Lake Garda. (Not one of the better known resorts, but quiet).
