We stayed here for 4 days. The owner was a delightful man who shared his knowledge of the area with us and gave us great tips on what to do, availability of various payment options (yes we saved by following his advice) and pointed at the great eating places. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. I'd come back again.

This Is a very nice, but not fancy hotel in Stresa, on Lake Maggiore. Parts of the hotel are over 400 years old, and the spiral stairway is said to come from Leonardo's workshop.
