The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom and in particular the en-suite, were badly in need of refurbishment. This was not 'faded charm' it was tatty and old. Look in the corners and find the grime. more

The restaurant is the best "holiday" restaurant I've ever encountered. It was excellent food and a great choice. The breakfast buffet was however poor. The staff are excellent in the restaurant. The single room was tiny and the bed ridiculoulsy hard and in need of replacement. The bar is awful. The location is fantastic. Wall sound insulation non existent. more

Incredibly rude manager; she shouted at us and refused to accept fault when we were given a parking ticket after she incorrectly gave us directions for the car park. (500m away) Fairly grim breakfast. Out dated rooms. more

Stayed 2 nites while on tour of region. Good location. Rooms comfortable but not spacious. Bathroom great, as it seems all Italian hotels are?! Staff helpful especially dining room. I would probably look for something more upscale if on my own but, if on budget or if nothing else available then this is definitely a good and safe pick. more
