Just returned from a lovely week in Stresa, hotel was superb, room large and airy, and cleaned everyday and bathroom requisites replenished daily. Wonderful Italian villa with oldfashioned interior. Lamps from Murano. Nice airconditioned rooms, nice staff and nice breakfast buffet. Lovely garden you could sit in. No lift so one had to carry the suitcases.

Nice older hotel with two separate buildings in a garden setting. Our room was fine. A/C, small safe, free WI-FI in common areas. Only a short walk to Stresa centre (3 mins down a small hill) but close to railway line, although this had minimal effect on sleep. Continental breakfast was substantial with a lot of variety.
