Hotel Italia is located at the edge of the historic city centre and within easy walking distance of all the principal cultural attractions, shopping facilities and public transport. The hotel rooms are of a particularly generous standard, the buffet breakfast is ample and the staff friendly and helpful. Tariffs are very reasonable. Highly recommended. more

Recommended by a friend of mine, I had a chance to stay in this hotel. It was a very good choice considering the price and the service. It’s located in the historical center: outside the hotel, in front of the Sociale, the Opera Theater, it’s fine to walk shopping and visit tourist attractions, the medieval and renaissance monuments of Mantova.... more

I got a substantial discount on the rack rate for a much-needed ari-conditioned room during a heatwave in Mantua in May 2007, paying under 70 euros for bed and breakfast, booked through the city tourist office.
