I stay in a lot of hotels and recently have been staying at the Holiday Inn/ Crown in Milano. This particular Holiday Inn is very far from being at an acceptable level for a 4 star. 1980's construction, dirty room (on Executive Priority Level) i'd hate to see what is in the other rooms i.e. dirty carpet, shower coffee machine... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in Mid September whilst on business nearby. The hotel is shabby and badly needs a refit. The communal areas in particular look like they last had some money spent on them in 1980. Having said that, the room was comfortable and clean and it served its purpose but everything was rather dated. There was road... more

We stayed at The Holiday Inn Milan for 3 nights at the end of August - and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, with an excellent bathroom, and efficient and effective air-conditioning which was very welcome given the hot weather. We also appreciated the amenities such as iron/ironing board and trouser... more

The first and only hotel I have walked out of. No investment for months here and closing down so don't expect a good service. Faults: No TV No Aircon Window didn't close and couldn't be secured No Ice Machines Tierd worn out decor - well it is closing down Not clean Luckily we did have one bedside light operational. No... more

This hotel is in an industrial area - and if you are looking to get out of the hotel for something to eat, don't ask the person at the front desk. I've never met someone so unhelpful. The restaurant in the hotel is really overpriced. Overally, the best I can call it is "average" - certainly not worth the 3.5... more

In a week through Austria and Italy, the Holiday Inn in Milan was the worst hotel we had. Not abysmal - I've experienced abysmal elsewhere - but certainly the worst of the week. Staff was incredibly unhelpful - want restaurant recommendations? They'll tell you to go into the city centre. Of Milan. By car. This hotel, mind you, is in... more

My wife and I stayed there for 1 night on 15-Sep-2007. The greatest problem was the noise in the rooms. The hotel is placed adjacent to a very busy main road. The windows in all the rooms including the executive suites are NOT sound proof at all and can not be completely shut tight. No matter which room you will... more

Stayed for 2 nights in August with 2 children in a family room. The staff on the front desk were friendly and efficient. The centre (Dumo + Castle) is a 30 min bus ride from hotel. The bus stop is directly opposite hotel (get your tickets from the front desk). A cab is about 20 euros. The hotel is a typical... more

Hotel was what we expected for a Holiday Inn abroad, although the location was not great. Except for a McDonald's across the busy street, not much else going on in the area. Hotel staff were pleasant and efficient and room was clean. Not a good area to base a sightseeing excursion from. more

The Holiday Inn Milan is located a little far a way from the center of the city. There are though a direct bus going from the front of the hotel to the center of the city. Also there is a bus that goes to the nearest subway station. The bustrip to the center takes about 40min. The room we had... more
