Stayed here with adult children and were delighted with our choice. It's in a great spot and the hotel staff were very helpful. Fabulous foyer and the rooms didn't disappoint. This is real value for money. Breakfast was extensive, fresh with huge choice. What a find! more

Pretty standard rooms. Just a block from all the high-end shopping Milan has to offer. Also right around the corner for a metro stop. But they only have one floor of non-smoking rooms! more

I stayed with my family in hotel Cavour for one night in a triple room. It was very nice. Room is very good with nice big bathroom. And breakfast was delicious!!! Location is fantastic,Via Spiga is just 20 m away. There's one think that is problem in whole Italy. There is no parking. So, you have to park at hotel... more

Being quite demanding travelers, finding good value hotels in Italy can be a dauting task. We've read several reviews, but in the end chose this hotel mainly because of 1) the location 2) the price (through expedia.com). I was particulary worried that the adjective classic hotel would just be a nice way to say out-of-date. The hotel beautiful and timeless... more

My husband and me stayed at Hotel Cavour because of our business. He had to attend a conference taking place nearby and I had to visit some clients, who suggested me to stay at Hotel Cavour. Going to Milan by train, we needed a hotel close to the city centre (and the conference place) without spending a fortune. Our company... more

I was booked at the Cavour based on a recommendation by colleagues in my company's Milan office. Upon arrival, I discovered the Internet connection was dial-up, and would not suit my purpose, so I had to check out two hours after arrival (paying one night's stay as a penalty). If I was staying for leisure and did not desperately need... more

Hotel Cavour is centrally located and near the Duomo, La Scala, nice restaurants and the upscale shopping areas (right across the street). I have stayed here a dozen times over the past few years and the service is consistent and helpful. It's easy to get a taxi here, the staff is helpful but aloof at times. The breakfast buffet is... more

We stayed here for three nights while we visited the city. The hotel was perfect for tourists as the location is within walking distance of the main districts. The rooms were were, big enough to unpack luggage and the beds comfortable. The AC worked well in temps of 36+. The staff were helpful when needed. The breakfast provided a great... more

To sum up this hotel in one word: mediocre. For anyone from the US or Britain who hasn't stayed in an Italian hotel, here's a piece of advice: subtract 1 star from the advertised rating. Why? Because Italy uses a "special" rating system, meaning that Italian hotels are all apparently given one more star than they deserve; Cavour is no... more
