We had a great 4-night stay in a newly remodeled double room, on the 6th floor (7th American, 1st fl doesn’t count - lobby). The room was very clean and very luxurious. Everything was totally new! Shower was awesome. English speaking TV channels included CNN and BBC. Personnel - very helpful and accommodating, everyone spoke English. The best of all... more

When you travel with both a older member of your family, in this case my mother who is 69 years old and a tounger, my son who is 17, and they both love this hotel including yourself then it´s a hit. My mother loved the cleanliness, new sheets everyday, and my son was so happy about the great breakfest, and... more

Booked this at the last minute having been bumped by the Hotel Nuovo Metro because they'd decided they weren't happy with me paying by Amex. So I did a pre pay - as I was visiting a trade show - I paid an inflated price for the room - £60 for the first night and £140 for the second. Anyway... more

I stayed at the Marconi and the first day was horrible!! They gave us a room that had construction right across the hall. After that I mentioned that to the front desk and they moved us to a new remodeled room and it was great!! Breakfast was good. Location is only good for those wanting to go on early morning... more

Hotel was under construction and entire walls were missing from building. Shutters did not close and there was no window. Construction was ongoing during the week and started outside our window at 8:00 a.m. Showers did not drain and constantly overflowed. Bathroom door did not close. Only one person on staff on Sunday (the day we checked in) and there... more

I'll never recomend this hotel. When I booked this hotel, I wrote my worries and request in e-mail. but they didn't give us answer, and they charged extra fee at there. Obviously they didn't see such comments. I wanted only their honest explanation or faithful in word. But they gave me the word, "Whoever you are, we can't accept. You... more

Ok, so the hotel was cheap and breakfast was included...but i never plan on returning to this hotel! It was old, stinky, small room, shower that wouldn't drain, the elevators didn't work (we had to climb a few flights of stairs with our bags), and the breakfast wasn't that great either. Oh, and the bar sucks too!!! We ordered a... more

My 2 friends n I stayed at Marconi for 2 nights from 7july04.I think its quite far from the nearest metro station (centrale stazione) n especially inconvienient if u r with luggages (15mins walk). Room was big, clean n quiet. Breakfast was great (variety). Generally we`ve enjoyed our stay there. N the supermarket opposite marconi stocks lotsa stuffs. more

We stayed at Hotel Marconi 19/22 Jul 03. Our room was a double facing the main road. The trams kept us awake as did the portable air conditioning, which needed an open window to be vented. It was too hot to turn it off and too noisy to keep it on! If you do manage to sleep the church bells... more
