Me and my partner arrived late at 11.30pm and the man at reception greeted us well when we arrived, in fact we thought all staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic, good enough. We were disappointed about the location, it's so far out it wasn't even located on our map of Milan we purchased - despite the EasyJet website saying it... more

We saw a cheap deal for Milan in the travel agent window but the hotel they offered was quite a way out of the centre. We were offered the 'central' Hotel Dei Fiori instead, at an increased cost. This is very misleading as this hotel is not central at all. It cost us 20 euros from the Centrale station by... more

The Hotel Dei Fiori is a few metro stops out of the city centre, but the metro is easy to use, convenient and cheap (particularly if you buy a 48 hr ticket if you are stopping a few days). However, there is virtually nothing in the immediate surround of where the hotel is based. The rooms are basic, a little... more

we chose this hotel as we needed to park our car as well... and it was on our way to downtown, right at the end of highway. price was reasonable for milan, breakfast good, room ok, and quiet (we asked for one facing the backyard/alley bathroom could be better functioning, but no big deal... also as we went out with... more

We booked a weekend trip to Italy which was VERY cheap so we didn't have very high expectations of the accommodation. The hotel was clean & the rooms had all of the usual stuff - tv's hairdryers, etc. However ! - there are no restaurants near by, apart from one above a bowling alley which admittedly does nice pizzas, so... more

The hotel was like Fawlty towers - the manager was definitely a Basil! It is not near the city centre as advertised. It is 5 stops out on the metro. It is not near bars and restaurants - there is one restaurant in a bowling alley - which the manager would not direct me to. Other guests told me about... more

The rooms were really small. Everything was really packed so that it could fit in the room. The hotel area was not much to look at. The receptionist was a bit rude and the breakfast room was really small. On the plus side the breakfast was good and the hotel was close to a metro station. more

Firstly, the famagosta metro station is 3 mins walk from this hotel. However, this metro station is tacky looking. Between the metro station & the dei fiori hotel there are 3 short road underpasses ( well lit at night ) which are heavily sprayed with grafitti ( see my pic above ). Not very inviting for females!!. I was always... more

ok hotel, ok price. staff were very friendly. internet on tv in room and english channels. we arrived at the hotel by taxi at night. were horrified at first. the area looked like the ghetto!. but during the day we discovered it was an ok area. its not in the centre of milan, but only a £12 taxi ride. apparantly... more
