The Grand Hotel Puccini has an excelent location, 5 min to Duomo by Metro or 20-30 min walking (Corso Buenos Aires, Corso Venezia are full of stores and Palazzos, providing a nice walk to Duomo). It was re-decorated a few years ago but that started to wear off. Rooms are small, but okay, bathrooms are nice. Breakfast is not close to any other 4 star hotel. Overall the whole place had a unwelcoming ambiance and somehow smells damp. Find an another if you can, until they lower their stars and prices to 2-3 stars. more

Just awful! Air conditioning that could'nt cope. Metro rattles the room. Blue colours than must have been a bulk buy when Pan Am went bust. Cheap nasty breakfast standards. This is no way a 4* - just avoid! more
