Just today we returned from 2- nights stay in this hotel. It was fantastic!!! We had the best room, with balcony open to nice garden. Stuff hadnt any mistake. Spent one night at Charly hotel, selected because very close to the Central Station. Good value hotel (in particular for Milan's standards, where hotels can be very expensive), basic but quiet and clean room , friendly staff at reception. Rooms on two floors and no elevator, which can be a little annoying when travelling with heavy luggage. more

We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Charly. Breakfast was in a solarium looking out on a restful garden, quite a delight in central Milan! We travel with a wheelchair, and had a ground floor room. The hotel bar was a relaxing spot at the end of the day. We would stay here again, definitely. more

Hotel is very conveniently located near Milano Centrale railway station. Tiny room but clean. No help with luggage on steep stairs to room. Attractive back courtyard. But the bed was like a piece of iron -- incrediibly hard. I don't like soft beds but this was the opposite extreme. Had to keep turning to relieve sore parts of the body.... more
