Big noise you can not avoid, because it's on a main artery, full of cars, busses, trams, trucks. One can't close the windows in the summer because the hotel has no A/C. We are very frugal travelers, want only a decent place to sleep and shower, but this was way under par. Little more than a shack, management seems to... more

We only stayed for one night and it was ok for that. The room was small and out to a big street so it was very noisy at night. The bathroom was tiny-one couldn't sit on the toilet without banging one's knees at the sink. The ceiling of the bathroom was completely mouldy and the whole room smelled of it.... more

the hotel is very well located around the busy areas of milan i.e. corso buenos aires and everything is within walking distance. It is fairly close to milano centrale which makes life just abit easier. the hotel provides the essentials, a bed, bathroom and tv. We werent looking for any luxuries just the simple things. more

Not only were the frontdesk staff all remarkably unfriendly, rude and quite frankly offensive to me and my group of friends, their control of the guests, or should I say guest, was quite frankly disgusting. About 2am in the morning and bunch of 'Soccer hooligan's' arrived back from a drinking session and continued to make noise for about 2 hours.... more

Although I had cash, when I asked for help with replacing a lost/missing wallet, the woman at the front desk unsympathetically told me that she couldn't help me and told me to go find a pay phone somewhere on the street. I was willing to do that, but then I asked for help with placing local and international calls with... more

We booked a room at this hotel on their website about a month before travelling in order to make SURE we had a double room with bath to stay for our first night in Italy. We told them our approximate arrival time (10 pm local;) and paid a $13 non-refundable deposit and guaranteed booking with a credit card (it stated... more

Staff are friendly, rooms/ bathroom very clean(im fussy, so I was very impressed). The place was nice & quite. I would definately recommend this hotel & I would... more

I agree with the other two reports. The plus points were that the room was clean, and despite it being minus 10c outside the room was very warm. Hot water came through when running for a while. Super hot power shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly and always on hand. The hotel is in a good position with... more

Just got back after spending 3 nights in the Tomaso - Friday thru Sunday. We stayed in milan as part of a 2 week tour of Italy. Hotel was good value, and in a really good location right next to the Venezia metro stop. The metro stop is on the main cross city line and all the main sites (Dumo,... more
