VS is a lovely inn in the hills outside Asti. Tim and Rina have done a great job making the place comfortable and accommodating, with spacious and modern rooms, nice public spaces, and wonderful hospitality. Tim is a font of local knowledge and will gladly suggest (or even arrange) local attractions, ranging from winery visits to truffle hunting and restaurants.... more

We stayed for 4 nights at Villa Sampaguita at the heigth of the truffle/wine season while travelling with our 2 very young kids (2,5 yrs / 3 mths). We spent three nights at Villa Sampaguita and had a wonderful time. This was our first visit to Piedmonte and Tim's tours and recommended restaurants were great.
