Loved this hotel, and the city. Torino is a beautiful city, and the Hotel Genio was a great way to make the best of it. Standard room, enough space, quite warm and clean. Good location. nice staff. usual Breakfast. Be sure to eat in an italian restaurant right at the corner, can't remember the name. Nice hotel, in a short walk to the center. Good breakfast and super-nice staff. The city of Torino is lovely, with many places to see. We stayed for 4 days and it was perfect. Make sure to get the Torino visitor's card, very useful. more

First impressions worried me as there was a lot of unsavoury characters and streetgirls hanging about. However these were at side and behind hotel,and never caused me a problem. Rooms were clean with high ceilings and large bathrooms. French doors opened out to let allow fresh air in , air con wasnt very effective, probably due to the high ceilings.... more

This is a Best Western chain hotel but is not at all 'chain feeling'. The building and reception are nice and the rooms are very large for European standards. The bathroom was equally generous. We found this to be a big change from the teeny rooms/baths we've found elsewhere. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially with driving directions.... more
