Stayed one night as part of our Mazda MX5 European Tour. Booked through a website the previous day for a good rate. Many websites stated this hotel had a swimming pool and a gym. On arrival we discovered there was not and seemingly never had been. We were disapointed as were looking forward to a swim and had chosen the... more

A fabulous hotel at a great rate. Close to everything, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is first rate. Location is also excellent: just a short walk from Porta Nuova railway station and the bus stop from the airport. The main shopping areas of Via Roma and Via Garibaldi are also a short walk from the hotel and the River... more

I stayed at this hotel in December 2007 and really liked it. It's very close to the Porta Nova Station and downtown Torino (Via Roma, Turin's main shopping street) what makes it a great starting point for touring the city. Hotel's lobby area is smallish but clean and nicely appointed. The stuff are very helpful and speak good English. Upon... more

We were three guys spending one night in Turin because we were attending the Juventus-Palermo match (5-0). As it was only for one night, we wanted to stay in a cheap hotel that was close to the railwaystation. For 79 euros we got a small but nice triple room including breakfast. This really is a bargain! The breakfast was not... more

Just returned from a long weekend in Turin (Friday to Monday) and have to say that the Urbani was an excellent choice of hotel. We booked it because of its close proximity to Porto Nuovo railway station (the airport bus stops outside the station which is less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel) and Via Roma (just across... more

This is a wonderful little hotel in a beautiful, stylish, ever-so-civilized and blissfully un-crowded city. The room was a good size, spotless, with mini-fridge and safe. The staff was uniformly helpful, cheerful and efficient. Included continental breakfast was ample, varied, and nicely presented. Be sure to ask for a room on the courtyard side, not the street side.....the garbage trucks... more

Excellent surprise after many bad experiences in Italian city hotels. Paper thin walls make for interesting nights sleep when frisky couples are next door and the street rooms with cars and people. Breakfast was fine and staff friendly. Great little pizza joint across the road and an excellent restaurant 50 mtrs up the road which let's you sample local cuisine... more

We have just returned from a fantastic 4 days in Turin! We had originally booked this hotel for it's location to the station, only to discover that our budget airline landed us the other side of the city!! - not too much of a problem as the public transport is excellent. This hotel was fantastic - went with an open... more

We stayed here for two nights at christmas last year and despite the room being a little cramped, I really liked the hotel. Its very near the train station and the city centre is a short distance away. The staff were extremely friendly. Its not Ritz but its very clean and very good value. There was a restaurant about two... more

We stayed two different nights in Turin with a day in Milan inbetween. Both rooms we had in the Urbani were large and well-fitted out, especially the one up in the rafters which, despite being a strange shape, was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel seems very well looked after and run which is reflected in the room quality. Breakfast... more
