If this is meant to be one of the better hotels in Turin, then Turin has problems! As a regular traveller, I often find that the check-in sets the standard. Here the staff are unfriendly and service is poor. At the check in, you wait whilst the staff do anything else but check people in. The concierge is non-existant. Over... more

I have only two positive comments about this hotel: nice shower and nice location. I arrived at the hotel at about noon with 4 colleagues. There was no one else in the reception area besides us, but it still took over 30 minutes for us to be checked-in. There were three employees behind the reception desk during this time, but... more

This was our second stay at the hotel. Lobby is impressive, staff is OK, not very warm but professional. Lifts are big, room was confortable and big, bathroom as well. All perfect. A minus: there are not coffee-tea facilities in room. Baby cot was one of those foldable, not very confortable for the baby. The bed is so big though,... more

We were assigned this hotel, which is supposedly rated four star, by another hotel (Golden Palace) who claimed they had water damage and could not honor confirmed bookings. Upon arrival by taxi the bellman waited inside the lobby and when we asked for his assistance he asked where the baggage was located there was only one robe upon arrival. The... more

The NH Santo Stefano is situated in perhaps the best location you could possibly ask for. Some rooms even look out onto the Porta Palatina, the last of four Roman-era gates to the once-walled city. The property is around the corner (and I am not exaggerating when I say ‘around the corner’) from the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist,... more

I stayed here to 2 nights when on business in Turin. I think that it is important for a hotel to make you feel welcome. I was not made to feel welcome at all, in fact I felt as though I was an imposition, especially asking for my luggage to be brought to my room. Waiting to be checked in... more

Previously I only used this hotel as a conference center (see my previous review). In December, I had a chance to spend 10 night there. I was very disappointed in the front desk staff. why? Upon arriving, you are standing there, with all your luggage at the front desk, and no attempt is made to acknowdge you or tell you... more

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with family in three rooms, two single deluxe and one double deluxe with our son (20 months). Altogether we would say the hotel is very nice but not perfect. Here are the details: Pros: Location, modern style, very nice food Cons: Staff not friendly (with the exception of the staff at dinner),... more

NH Santo Stefano is a cool, modern and stylish hotel in a really good location right beside the church that contains the Turin Shroud and just a few mins walk from the main city piazzas etc. It is finished in a lovely wood and stone finish and has a cool atrium (see pictures). The room was excellent and the breakfast... more
