I came onto Trip Advisor website prior to departure to find no reviews for this hotel. Looks like I am the first, so here goes. A group of eight of us stayed at the Hotel Edelweiss in Courmayeur over New Year. The hotel is situated in the heart of Courmayeur. You may think by looking at the map that it's out on a limb, it isn't. That little road down to Via Roma will take you all of 30 seconds to walk. The hotel is 2 star and family run. The rooms were nice and clean with ensuite shower and/or shower and bath. On arrival one of the lights in our room was not working. I mentioned it to reception the following morning. When we returned in the evening the light was working. My only niggle about the rooms were that the beds were rather hard (we all agreed on this). I suppose its good for the back though!
