We visited Hotel Romantik Novecento in june 2012 and were very surprised. The view was wonderul: Mont Blanc in all it's beauty and the weather was above all very good. The hotel was as it promised: very romantic and the people were as friendly as possible. There was a great breakfast, but no way (at that time of the year)...

A carefully historical recovery work lasted more than two years has carried to the rebirth of an ancient alpine noble house, today centre of a hotel de charme of rare beauty. From the original façade to the halls, from the restaurant to the rooms and suites rigorously style furnished, all reveal a setting of great charme, captivating atmosphere and refined details of the past. Antique furniture and precious fabrics, warm and welcoming rooms with views over the Mont Blanc make this hotel particularly special. A particular care has been dedicated to the restaurant "Novecento", faithful to the ancient gastronomic traditions and sincerity of bygone food. Among the little concessions to modernity, but also always in mountain style, a pleasant Fitness Centre equipped with sauna, Turkish bath, mini swimming pool with Jacuzzi and relax zone. Of course, the twentieth-century rooms offers also the services of a first category hotel, such as safe deposit box, satellite TV, direct dialling telephone with Internet connection, but the atmosphere is undoubtedly the one of the last century, the 1900's that makes live again the exciting vacation of the mountain pioneers for which Courmayeur was the comfortable and luxury base field for the adventures along the Mont Blanc's glaciers. The great top, yesterday like today, is always show of inexpressible beauty, and the Romantik Hotel Villa Novecento really makes feel like those bygone pioneers, ready to meet with the Mont Blanc, even through the not far breathtaking cableway that from Courmayeur leads you quickly in the large "sea of ice", one of the natural wonders of the world. For the local inhabitants, Mont Blanc is not simply an icy mountain made up of glaciers and majestic rocks. Mont Blanc is life itself, it symbolises the deep-rooted and ancient reasons that make this town and its people special, it gives it a stamp of authenticity which not even time can erase. The richness of the environment and nature, the possibility to go hiking and "touch" local fauna make this area an important tourist attraction for mountain lovers following marked out paths and guided along the way by nature guides.
