Wow, this was a very special visit. Wall of text incoming: Truth to be told, the domain was beautiful and must be a real pleasure to stay.. if it wasnt for the owner.. We’ve doing b&b’s for our whole life and decided to do the same for our honeymoon. We arrived quite early around 14:30 and wanted to leave our luggage in the b&b and visit Treviso. We saw a car and the door next to the gate was open, so we entered and proceeded to the house to find the host and check-in. The reception was open but we did not see anybody, so we wanted to go back outside, but the door next to the gate, through which we came closed and that apparently caused it to auto-lock. As a result we were trapped inside the domain... We tried calling the host several times but no answer. We saw the gate was a manual system so we opened this to get outside. At that moment we saw the gardener at work, we explained how we got trapped and asked if he knew where the owner was. He tried to call someone but also to no avail. He came with us to the entrance from which we then saw the owner arrive with friends/family. The owner was friendly and asked our papers to proceed to the check-in. After filling all details he just said: “go to your car and wait there, i am going to get the police since you entered my domain without my permission”... after which he left with his car, even leaving his other guests. We were in disbelief and were left with his other guests (friends/family). We were able to do our story to them and they understood us and even appologized for all this and his strange behaviour. After 30-40minutes(!!) the owner came back, laughing at us and saying he informed the police, saying we had to stay in our car and under no condition enter his property. Bye bye holiday/honeymoon-mood.. 30minutes later still no police, only the owner himself laughing at us and handing us over some print-out with the law about tresspassing.. We decided to call the police ourself so we were sure we couldnt be held accountable for anything and just leave to find another b&b. When the police arrived we explained everything via google translate, since nobody understood english, and they understood our actions. The owner was ofcourse super friendly to the police but kept belittling us in english with a smug face. This was the worst customer experience we’ve ever witnessed and despite the location I would never recommend this place to anyone.

A beautifully proportioned villa, set in beautiful grounds, on the edge of a beautiful town - what more could you want? If you add comfortable accommodation, peace and quiet, and spotlessly clean, with the aura of a family home, it makes the perfect stay. The villa only has three rooms, apparently, and is decorated with exquisite taste throughout. Our host was courteous and charming, and made us both welcome and comfortable. Our room was dual aspect, overlooking the garden, with its proliferation of specimen trees and bushes, and a hidden swimming pool in the corner. Breakfast was both organic, and favoured local produce, and was delicious. We stayed three nights, and were only sorry we hadn't booked for longer. Absolutely gorgeous.

The villa is immersed in a beautiful garden and its well furnished and maintained. The owner is friendly and helpful. Rooms are tidy and elegant even if the decor goes back to '60s and 70s it's very agreeable. Breakfast is complete and organic. TV Aus not having cable Channela and night gate needs some work to be open but it's a very romantic and comfortable solution for 2/3 days in the area.

We rented out this beautiful Villa for the week before our Wedding, so that we could have a base to relax, spend time with loved ones in our own surroundings and finalise our wedding prep, and we were not disappointed. From start to finish this venue was perfect. The staff could not do enough for us (including helping to organise wedding flowers last minute - we are forever in your debt Beppe!). We would highly recommend this Villa to everyone, and look forward to returning for our first wedding anniversary next year!

That was our second stay, this time in the beginning of summer. The villa, the garden, the pool - a movie scenography! Just a 10 minutes ride from Treviso center. We suggest to work on the breakfast quality, especially caffe (we are in Italy, not in India) and cheese selection, as well as to extend it until 11AM. We recommend Villa Zane to everybody.

Only stayed here for one night on way to Treviso Airport. Quite difficult to find even with GPS. Arrived late November evening and left early morning so unable to enjoy the beautiful garden or verandah for drinks. Very quiet area yet convenient for visiting the City and only 15 mins drive to Airport. Negotiated entrance through gates to property (locked after dark) with ample parking on the drive way. Welcomed by the owner - we were the only guests. Felt as if we were staying in a private palace with antique furniture and family portraits and pictures decorating the walls. Shown to our lovely room on 2nd floor. Very comfortable double bed, tea/coffee making facilities, modern bathroom with efficient shower. Went into Treviso for dinner - good driving and parking instructions provided. Had very filling continental breakfast before leaving with variety of cereals, breads and home-made pastries and jams. No cooked breakfast on offer.

Villa Zane is nice villa, with very nice and big garden, with a lot of secluted places to sit and relax. Unfortunately, during our stay (one night) the pool was unfunctional, full of dirt and algae, closed for use. The staff is simply perfect, Indian guy very helpful. Breakfast is pretty poor, but OK... Room we had was very small, air condition very, very loud and there were mosquitos in the room. All in all, not so impressed, could be better. Anyhow, I can recommend, when pool is OK, and you dont care about so loud aircon.

This is what you get at this place, a true effect of spending time into an elegant family country side, located on a secondary and calm road. Upon arrival impeccable outlook of the building; unconventional lobby, vintage flavour all around. A fly of steps and here you find a beautiful studio with a library where rooms' doors (two) do open. The room was kind of a mini flat with one main bedroom, another tiny room and the bathroom. Style consistent all around and the true effect is obtained here by original materials kept in very good shape. I was amazed to appreciate the 70ish look of the bathroom with tiles that would be very difficult to find as new stuff but still looking just perfect. Very cured details. Breakfast (ok: abundant and good with a nice selection of cakes and, yes, real orange juice) is served in a tiny space, very well decorated. Quiet is absolute. Personnel and manager was were kind and efficient at all times. The Villa is conveniently located in the country-side surroundings the beautiful town of Treviso and less than thirty minutes from Venice airport. Personal transport needed for smooth commuting.

Villa is located outside the city of Treviso, on a small road within green park with pool, statues and fountain. A unique way to step into an Italian aristocracy country live of the past century. Free car parking is a huge advantage. Villa is lavishly decorated with antiques and old books. It has 2nd floor available for guests. Owners live at the 1st floor. The room was large and quite nice with Wi-Fi and a/c. Unfortunately there is no dining option in the hotel and you have to get to the city to eat or order pizza delivery. Breakfast was too simple; wish it had more choices and better coffee. The capsule coffee machine was so slow and decrepit that it needed 5 minutes to make a cup of coffee. Pool area was nice, easy to spend a day just relaxing there. A funny and friendly Indian guy who had a livery on each occasion operated everything at this property. He had a white livery for waiter, violet for porter, green for housekeeping. In general this guesthouse is good for a short relaxing stay. If you need sightseeing better to stay in the city.
