We have just returned (today) from a 4 night stay at the excellent Carlton Hotel in Treviso. We know the town well and selected the Carlton on this occasion due to its proximity to the railway stration. We had a one night stay on our way to Venice - it was enough. Asked for 'family room', but was just a double with a fold out bed which made it a bit of a squeeze. Request for non-smoking also not achieved and room stank of cigarettes. But > good location; free, safe parking out back and very helpful... more

This hoyel was a great location with plenty of things right at your door step, train, bus, and resturants. Plenty of shopping and the grand piazza with in a five minute walk. Beautiful little city.Hotel Carlton was just an average hotel in Europe, but the location was EXCELLENT!!!!!! more

This hotel has a strange layout (it's easy to get lost) and the lifts are tiny. Our room was reasonable but the air conditioning unit didn’t cool the air, it just moved it around.
