this is the nicest place one can imagine. upon arrival ernestina invited us to her home for wine and gave us a bottle upon leaving. when she felt her english lacking she provided us with a skilled interpreter for planning our trips to the palladian villas and venice. breakfast was oustanding, the faacilities excellent and the hostess perfect. her restaurant recomendations considered quality along with price and were fabulous. staying with ernestina was o much better than the tourist mecca of venice, we loved it. she even provided my companion with a special pastry on his birthday. best bargain on 6 week trip
