After having had a hectic 3 days in Venice,we missed the flight home. A local taxi driver took us to the HOTEL FLAMA in Treviso,which was 10 mins away. We were given a suite on the top floor,which was fantastic, and we were only charged for the price of a standard room. We were made very, very welcome and made to feel as though our custom was appreciated . The hotel was clean,modern and only a ten minute walk into the lovely town of Treviso. It was a breath of fresh air, after the turmoil of Venice. We spent a day in the town,and to be honest , we enjoyed it more than Venice itself. Very scenic with lovely people.
If you get the chance, stop of in Treviso,and stay at the Hotel Flama. Its a lovely place.
