Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I appreciated that the hotel let us go to our room before the check in time. This was important due to just arriving after a long overnight flight. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. There is no breakfast and you must climb stairs with your luggage. Our room had a terrible view but we did not complain since we were able to enter early. The staff is only there from 9:00-4:00pm which is unusual for hotel staff. The location is very convenient to grocery store, decent restaurants and cafes. The location is away from the craziness of tourist Venice.

My friend and I really loved our stay at Ca'bragadin Cabarra.. We enjoyed having a kettle for that early morning cup of tea and coffee. Small mini bar was also welcome. Safe, slippers, extra pillows and a blanket was also provided. The room was spotless, and checked every day by staff. Beds where comfortable. Smart TV and Air Conditioning worked well. We stayed in room 302 which had a large terrace. Staff where friendly and ready to advise about Venice. They held our bags for us after check-out, which was great. I totally recommend this Hotel. Can't wait to go back again next year.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had the perfect stay. The room (201) was large, comfy, cool and peaceful. The location is excellent and very close to St Marks square. The staff were incredible and gave us lots of advice and tips. Thank you very much. We’ve already recommended it to friends who are thinking of coming. Tip: follow the hotels directions to the property. We followed our phones and it took much longer.

Easy checkin, convenient location and a large immaculate room overlooking a lively square. Slightly pungent odour from small bathroom but it is Venice after all. Small hotel and basic facilities but a great place to kick off your shoes and rejuvenate between forays out into this wondrous city

This was a lovely hotel, very close to all the main attractions and also to water connections. The room we were in was large, with a seating area, two large windows (not exactly a balcony as described) but was too cold to sit out anyway! A free safe was provided, as well as a minibar/fridge/kettle and tea/coffee/biscuits. We did not use the breakfast facilities, so cannot comment on this, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a short break (take a torch to find the front door though, as this was down a side street and quite difficult to find).

Stayed at the Bragadin Caraba hotel- rooms are bold and quite different - beds fine, check in staff seemed to think that we booked at the last minute although room was booked about 4 months ago! Shower is quite interesting - the location and the process itself to have a shower? The city experienced Aqua Alta whilst we were there - foyer flooded and the stench was unearable and whilst all other shoppers and businesses quickly restored their businesses, the hotel took it's own time- left us with a bad taste as the smell of sewage was quite unbearable that we checked out without risking the rest of our stay!!!!

I have to say that we are very impressed by the ratio quality /price of the flat. We pay something like 50€ per night and the hotel is very nice. Strongly recommend it. The view is not incredible but for the price it's fine. Moreover the staff is nice.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. The location was perfect and the room sizes, excellent. Friendly staff, clean rooms and facilities. There are amenities on the doorstep, with a local coop and many tourist shops close by.

We weren't expecting too much from this hotel as it was much cheaper than others in the area. What a very pleasant surprise. A lovely clean room and our own bathroom, which was across the hall, but only we had a key. The bathroom was also modern and spotless. There is a lift which is only for luggage and we were on the 4th floor. But to be honest, after the amount we ate, we needed that walk up the stairs. I have no complaints apart from trying to locate the place. There is no sign anywhere, only a small brass plaque next to the bell.
