ideal area for the Giardini and Arsenale (Art Biennale). Clean attractive well decorated well set up mod-cons appartment - we spent 9 days there and enjoyed it.. The very amiable owner meets you at the vapporetti stop and shows you all the details eg air con, washing machine. Only problem is that it is ground floor and hence has no view and often noisy people walk by at night. But the price is excellent for Venice and the area gives you a sense of how the locals live. more
