We spent four nights at B&B Leonardo in Venice and would recommend it to anyone. The location in Dorsoduro is excellent, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the Grand Canal, and a vaparetto stop. The neighborhood has a peaceful ambiance, dripping with charm and very safe. Although we could easily reach Venice's busy tourist destinations in minutes, we appreciated coming "home" to our quiet neighborhood.
Our room had an excellent view of the neighboring museum's garden. It was clean with simple, tasteful decor, and a convenient private bathroom. Breakfast was self-serve in the kitchen, dining and sitting area on the first floor. The breakfast selection (yogurt, cereal, packaged pastries, toast, coffee, teas, and juice) was filling and similar to what we received elsewhere in Italy.
