Absolutely perfect. Staff were attentive, friendly & polite, food and service in restaurant second to none,wonderful view whilst enjoying breakfast. The Danieli has so much charm and character,our room was tastefully decorated and loved the fact they even provided slippers with hotel logo. Definately worth saving up for,made our first trip to Venice truely memorable. more

Though the hotel is very convenient to San Marco, I did not like the location. I did not like stepping out of a luxury hotel into the masses. Doges Palace was lovely. Dinners at The Gritti Palace and Fortuny at Cipriani were wonderful due to the unique atmosphere. Our junior suite on the lagoon was in need of updating. Expensive!... more

I booked this hotel and then needed to cancel. They would not let me...If I canceled I had to pay 1004Euro anyway. This has been a nightmare. What a colossal rip-off.! more
