We stayed here for 5 nights and although a bit pricey, the hotel looks new (must have been newly renovated) and room is pretty with its beige and lilac colors and wooden ceiling beams. Splendid by name and a great description of our three day stay. We visited Venice for our 40th wedding anniversary. Hotel Location could not be better, quality of the food outstanding. Fairly expensive, but that's typical of Venice if you want a good hotel

We very much enjoyed our stay at Splendid. We were promised an upgrade before booking, which was wonderful. The staff were very well informed and promptly fixed an issue with the tv. Breakfast was basic but tasty and the coffee was very good. No complaints at all about the hotel.
