The hotel is located within easy walking distance to St. Mark's and the Grand Canal. It is your typical European hotel with small rooms, but very clean. Very nice hotel, great location close to St Mark's Cathedral and incredible staff. Highly recommended. A bit downside was that you had to pay extra if you wanted coffee in your breakfast which I didn't expect from a 4 star hotel. more

Found a good last minute deal on Octopus but wanted to make it special so I emailed them and they upgraded me to a Deluxe Room (Number 501) for a small extra fee.
