The rooms were not great...service and breakfast were not great. Loved the location and the price for the rooms were good. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for our honeymoon, it was in a brilliant location, a street away from the square. Don't know what the poor reviews are complaining about. We got a great room. Admittedly the view was poor but we're literally 2 minutes from Piazza San Marco so that doesn't bother us. Breakfast service is a bit chaotic but the quality of the food is good. Overall a good hotel in a great location.

Staying in this hotel was literally a bad experience. Small rooms with poor gaudy decor and a very tiny bathroom. Although tariffs were quite high in August. The location is the only positive point as It's just ten steps away from the San Marco square and other attractions.

Stayed here in February right in the middle of Carnivale and it was only £60 a night! It's right at the back of St Mark's Square, so perfect location and we couldn't believe our luck on the price! the only good thing is the location. desk staff unfriendly. first room was to be a non smoking, it was on the canal side, stunk. found cigarette butt in drawer...obviously not well cleaned. unable to switch room till the next day. staff moved our luggage into new room, left door open. new room was a little better, but not much.... Stayed for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and polite, the location is excellent-right on the Piazza-but tiny rooms with peeling wallpaper and thin doors with no soundproofing. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to others.
