Stayed for 4 nights in October. We booked through their prepay site, so the price was a good value for Venice. The location is it's best point. Our rooms were good, bathrooms nice. The breakfast and the staff, not so good. I agree with a previous review that the woman at the front desk was not helpful. more

Horrible gas smell in our room, made us sick and head ache. Sent caretaker up he left with face covered. We took our luggage out of room, they would do nothing for us. We paid over $400 Canadian and got no customer service and absolutely, no help from Best Western International, despite numerous emails from us and our travel agent.... more

Stayed at Best Western Albergi-San Marco. Location and price were very good. It was close to St. Mark's Square and easy to find after getting off the water taxi from airport. Good on every point, get the breakfast in bed it s awesome. fresh ait and nice view, right next to San marco plaza, confortable and the price is still ok for Venise. Loved the city and was not disappointed by the hotel. Good value fr Venise (don t forget it s one of the most expensive place in the world...) more

We stayed only 1 night - and our first impression of the reception area was not all too good - it had a funky smell (from pibe tobacco...). I think it was the clerk (as the smell was gone next day when he wasn't there...). It's quite outdated - but location is fabulous!! No more than 50m from San Marco... more

This hotel smells dank and musty and needs whole overhaul in terms of decor. The bathroom of our room had obviously just been redone so that was very nice but the room itself was not very nice at all, stuffy, hot and dark. Breakfast was poor with not much choice, staff weren't all that friendly - I wouldn't stay in... more

Very convenient to San Marco Square and the other popular sites in Venice. Hotel staff was not eagerly helpful, but they will help if pressed. more

The Best Western name seems to have very little to do with this below standard hotel The location was perfect but the hotel is poorly run, the female desk clerks are rude and know absolutely nothing about making guests feel comfortable. Claim it is air conditioned..NOT! This was not to say there were no airconditioners, they just do not work... more

The only good things about this hotel is it's location and the friendly staff. The rooms are poor and full of cockroaches. The breakfast was terrible. And all that for 300 Euros. My advise is don't go there. more
